Winter Magical Memory Walk
Take a walk down memory lane and raise funds for your local Birmingham hospital by taking part in this year's Winter Magical Memory Walk.
The 5km walk will take place in Edgbaston's beautiful Cannon Hill Park on Saturday 9 December and will raise money to provide added extras for elderly patients at hospitals across Birmingham.
Fancy dress is optional - but recommended! Dress up in outfits reflective of your favourite era and don some festive accessories, as we look back to the 'good ol' days'!
You can choose to walk for Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital, Solihull Hospital or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
This event will be great fun for all of the family. There will be a list of magical items for children to find along the route; and if you're feeling adventurous you can take on the 10km route.
The money raised from the event will go a long way to supporting elderly patients.
£25 will fund orientation clocks that help patients with dementia know whether it is day or night, helping to keep them in a healthy routine.
£50 will fund a range of dementia-friendly items such as mugs, plates and cutlery to help patients who struggle with eating and drinking.
£100 will fund a dementia trolley filled with games, puzzles and activities for elderly patients across the hospital.
Anybody who raises over £100 will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a fantastic prize!
